In Pretoria, a South African woman gives birth to ten infants, according to reports.

Decuplets astounded Gosiame Thamara Sithole's spouse as tests revealed only eight in the womb.

"There are seven boys and three girls in the group. I am content. I'm a sensitive person. I'm afraid I won't be able to say much "Teboho Tsotetsi, her husband, told Pretoria News following the birth.

According to the BBC, one South African official verified the deliveries, while another stated they had yet to see the babies.

Ms Sithole had ten babies, according to a family member who did not want to be recognized, five through normal birth and five by caesarean section, according to the BBC.

Ms Sithole's case is being investigated by Guinness World Records, according to the BBC.

In 2009, a woman in the United States set the Guinness World Record for the most infants delivered at a single birth who survived.
Halima Cissé, a 25-year-old Mali woman, gave birth to nine babies last month, all of whom are reportedly doing well in a Moroccan clinic.

According to BBC Africa's health reporter Rhoda Odhiambo, most pregnancies involving a high number of babies end early.
Multiple births with more than three babies are uncommon and usually the consequence of fertility procedures, but the couple claims they conceived spontaneously in this case.

"We got too close to the Chinese, and we were afraid they were going to target us," he explained. India and China were accused of invading each other's territory in Ladakh a year ago. Since a battle in 1962, most of the estimated 3,440-kilometer border has been unclear, with both countries' interpretations of their line differing. According to Indian media, the conflict erupted after Chinese forces erected tents, built trenches, and transferred heavy equipment several kilometers into what India considered its territory. The Indian army, caught off guard by China's surprise maneuver, res...
