Punjab's left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh, who has been named as a net bowler for the forthcoming Sri Lanka trip, is looking forward to working with his 2018 U-19 World Cup-winning mentor Rahul Dravid during the series and has pledged to impress him.
“It seemed weird to get a call. It came as a complete surprise to me. Working with Rahul sir once more is the icing on the cake. Working with Rahul Sir was a wonderful experience for me. It will be a fantastic opportunity for me to work with him once more.He is a team player who values all of his teammates equally. In the Sri Lanka tour, I'll attempt to impress him and would definitely pick his brain,” Arshdeep told IndiaToday.In.
At the R Premadasa International Stadium in Colombo, the Shikhar Dhawan-led team will play three ODIs and three T20Is against the hosts. On July 13, 16, and 18, the ODIs will be played, while the T20Is will be played on July 21, 23, and 25.
