On Friday, the cryptocurrency market was under pressure after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) expressed alarm over El Salvador's intention to accept Bitcoin as legal tender.

The introduction of Bitcoin as legal cash has produced a variety of macroeconomic, financial, and legal difficulties, according to the IMF.

During a scheduled press briefing, Gerry Rice, an IMF spokesman, said, "Adoption of bitcoin as legal cash presents a variety of macroeconomic, financial, and legal challenges that demand extremely careful examination."
